Electricity Company Fecsa Endesa are still working to restore power to towns on the Costa Brava, but in the meantime huge generators have been placed around the town, giving ninety percent of the population electricity once more.

However, there have been discussions about who should be refilling the generators, and therefore many have stopped working due to being without diesal.

Electricity company workers are attempting to run a provisional line between Blanes and Lloret. Blanes for the main part was not affected by the falling pylons after Monday’s freak snow storm.
